Esther Cheng

Workplace Psychologist / Operations Manager

Esther graduated from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a major in Psychology and first joined the Ministry of Health (MOH) as a Health Policy Analyst.

She then joined SQI as a workplace psychologist, assessing work personalities and empowering companies in identifying and promoting the right person to not only do the job, but take ownership for it.

Her boldness to engage has spurred her to facilitate leadership awareness sessions in the maritime industry with senior engineers. She has also conducted 1-1 master profile interpretation of psychological reports for ship captains, officers and senior engineers of at least 10 nationalities, ranging from S.E. Asia to eastern European countries.

Other notable involvements include facilitating ‘Train-the-Trainer’ sessions for Rohei coaches who partner with SQI in the use of our psychological reports. Her dream is to see people benefiting from the insights that can be gleaned from the SQI reports.

At times, you can also find her in the house of God as part of the Host Ministry team, welcoming guests from all corners of the world.
